Candy Heart Problem Solving!

Whew! I have been SOOO busy lately! I promise I will start posting more over spring break and summer. I am barely keeping on top of everything I have to do for school. Also, I am still learning all of this blog stuff. It took me about 3 hours to get my newest TPT product up. It only took me about an hour to make it, but an extra 2 hours to figure out the best way to make it a PDF and keep the format the same. I actually had to take some of it out because I could not figure out how to format it in google docs. I will offer what I took out as a freebie in word. Hopefully, I will get better at this soon! I have tons of great ideas, and have made tons of great stuff for my classroom....I just need to figure out how to get it to you! My newest product is for Valentine's Day. I love to celebrate Valentine's Day in my classroom! We make a whole day out of it. In the morning, we will pass out valentines. I send home a list of names of the students in my class ahead of time. On Thursday, the kiddos will read the names of their friends on the valentines and pass them out. We will also do an opinion writing activity. I got the activity from Miss-Kindergarten. The students will write and draw about the things they love. For math, we will sort our candy hearts and graph them. I will have a few students come to the front and present their data. The other students will be invited to ask questions about the data (ex. Which color did you have the most of?) Then, we will do this activity that I created: Candy Heart Problem Solving!

Here is my freebie I LOVE the Teens!
